I didn’t decorate that much for Christmas, so the mantel was easy to dismantle.

I had three things on my mind:   green, pom pom’s and Valentine’s day.

Spring Mantel 2013

I wanted the theme to be green,

so I could  use this big lovely green lady.

On Instagram I kept seeing pom pom’s.

I couldn’t quit thinking about pom pom’s, I’ve seen them everywhere like Jessica‘s and Cassie‘s .  In fact Cassie said 2013 is the year of the pom pom.

So here’s my nod to the pom pom.

Murphy stepped in to remind me that they’re also our nod to Valentine’s day.

Do you decorate your mantel for every season?  Or just nod like I did 😉IMG_3114Sharing:  Between Naps on the Porch, Coastal Charm

    1. I *wish* I could nod, but, in the end I tend to get a bit carried away! LOL. I LOVE your mantelscape. The pom poms are beautiful, as is your big green lady! Your doggy is too cute, too!

    2. I love pom poms! They are so cute and cheery. I don’t decorate my mantel for every season. It is usually the same until Christmas. I do change my centerpiece on the table for the seasons and I really want to get to doing the mantel, but I need to paint the brick first so I even like the whole area….oh what a tangled web we weave when first we decided to be a crafty DIY person!
      Have a great day!

    3. I try to decorate for the season but that does not always happen. We now have our tv on the mantel and it is giving me a hard time. I only have a small section to work with now and it is challenging. Murphy is adorable he is curious just like my dog.

    4. Debbie, your mantel is breath-taking! I love all the items you used; especially that “to die for” mirror! If you get tired of it…let me know! 🙂 Terrific job! And then there’s that great green glass jug! OK, love it all!

    5. It’s beautiful Debbie!! Oh the green definitely has me longing for Spring and wanting to go take down all of my winter-y stuff. It has been so dreary here so seeing your beautiful photos is like a breath of fresh air! 🙂

    6. Hello Debbie,
I decorate for the biggies.. Winter, well here in North Central Florida, I do what I can 🙂 . But I do put something wintery up after I deChristmas the home. Then I do a Spring one.. actual Spring not Easter. Haven’t done that since the lads were little and we did the Easter Bunny thing. I do not do a Valentine one.. no. I do make a fab meal and set a pretty romantic table and all , but that’s the scope of it all. Then I do the summer thing.. sea shells and a lighter decor. Fall.. one of my faves… no Halloween, then The biggie… Christmas.
I am afraid, I am not even nodding at Valentine’s Day as you are.
      Cheers, Gee
