Dinner Guest

IMG_4017

The table was set, with a mixture of salad plates. I love finding special dishes at special prices, especially when I'm having special guest, who don't get to visit often. It's fun to talk and laugh, get caught up. Spending time with my little sis and my brother in law, it was a great night. I wish they lived closer, but … [Read more...]

Flower Frog

I ♥ tulips. But they have flimsy stems and they need a little help so I created a natural looking frog. I used my 40% off coupon at HL and bought a large plastic branch. Yes, I could use one from the yard... but I thought water and the branch may get a little yucky. I grabbed an old fish bowl from the attic. Did a little tree … [Read more...]

Poinsettia Front Door

IMG_3519copt

I bought two poinsettias from Walmart last week.  Then I came up with the idea of using them at the front door, so I went back for two more.  I was pleasantly surprised to find them for 50% off, I got four.  Now I have a total of six :) Right Side of entrance. Left Side I'm glad all my plants have filled in.  The green looks so good with … [Read more...]

Christmas Tree at Lake Martin

IMG_3060

The tree is unusual, it has very skinny branches.  When I first saw it, I had no doubt that it was perfect!  I thought it looked so natural. It had to grow on Mr. Refresh, he likes it now. The condo at Lake Martin is decorated in browns, golds, oranges mostly nature inspired.  So last year when Sam's had their Christmas ornaments on … [Read more...]
