Christmas Tree at Lake Martin

The tree is unusual, it has very skinny branches.  When I first saw it, I had no doubt that it was perfect!  I thought it looked so natural.

It had to grow on Mr. Refresh, he likes it now.

The condo at Lake Martin is decorated in browns, golds, oranges mostly nature inspired.  So last year when Sam’s had their Christmas ornaments on sale, I bought a couple of boxes.

I love the ornaments that I found on sale.  The church came from Wal-Mart and my youngest grandson picked out the sleigh.

Decorating the Christmas tree and listening to Christmas music are a few of my favorite things.

Some people complain about  decorating too soon and radio stations that play only Christmas music.  Not me, I just love it all!  What about you?

What a great tree, those branches are unique!
      Your decorations are lovely too…
I have been listening to Christmas music now for a while, even in the car when I’m driving…
I just love this time of year, lots of decorating to be done.
      All the Best,

    3. Your tree is so pretty. I am all about Christmas after Thanksgiving. I want to enjoy that holiday and then enjoy Christmas. I am traveling for work so while I would love to start putting up my holiday decorations I will have to wait at least a week.

    4. I think that is a great tree! Beautiful ornaments! I love the gold quilted one! Very unusual. If I have my shopping done, I can relax and enjoy all the music and decorations, but before that, I am in a bit of a panic. Silly, I know.

    7. That looks absolutely beautiful Debbie!! I went with a similar color palette for the tree in our master bedroom and it is so fun to play with different colors. I would love to more of that condo too! 🙂 I started listening to instrumental Christmas music in late October and I’m proud of it! It just makes me feel good!
Can’t wait to see more of what you come up with this season.

My tree is up. Christmas dishes are out. Love listening to the carols while cleaning and I have started watching the Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel. LOVE Christmas.

    11. I’m right there with you! I love the sights, sounds and smells of the Christmas season and I soak it in as long as I can. We invested in a good artificial tree years ago. People still feel of it to decide whether it’s real or not. 😀 Some years I go with a theme, and some years I put every old decoration we’ve collected over the years and the ones our children made. It’s up, not sure what I’ll do yet. Your tree is very pretty and I love the little church ornament. Yes, we’ve been playing Christmas CDs since October!
