Love this project, Debbie! My partner tried this on a dresser, but the edges of the drawers had some curvature that she just couldn’t navigate successfully with the map and mod podge. Your dresser was the perfect choice!
Hope you and yours have a very happy Thanksgiving!

I have some charts like that my dh was going to get rid of (I snagged them of course!). I hope to MP to a desk top someday – never thought of drawer fronts, brilliant! I’m wondering what paint you used?

As I perused Pinterest today, I came across your dresser. I immediately recognized the geography of the map you used! It’s my home, Hilton Head, SC and the surrounding waters and mainland. How delightful! What a fun project!

I am new to the modge podge seen, but I love doing it. I just had a question for you. I’m assuming the map was big enough to cover the dresser, but what if I have say a picture of a flower that’s approximately 8″ x 11″ and I want it to fit on an entire dresser. How would I do that? I’m assuming I would have to take it to somewhere like Office Depot to have it blown up, but not sure. I know my home printer couldn’t do that because it don’t take paper larger than an 8x 11. Please advise….Thanks a bunch.

Yes, you’d have to measure your dresser and go to a pro-printer to see if the size is available. Good Luck! When you’re finished with your project, share it on our FB page, refreshrestyle
