Dining Room Storage

Recently I moved my long farm table into the breakfast area and moved the round table to the dining room, in other words, I shook things up around here. You know how one thing leads to another and then January rolls around and you have organizing on your mind. Yes, I needed more dining room storage.

My idea for dining room storage:

This post is sponsored by Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart. Affiliate links have been added for your convenience, this month we’re sharing organizing ideas. Now that we can officially fit 8 people around the table, I wanted a place for the dinnerware and anything else needed to set the table. Something pretty, painted and sized to fit in the bay window area.

Storage with sliding doors

When I found the Better Homes & Gardens Willow Buffet, I knew it would fit in perfectly with my farmhouse style. Added benefits are the adjustable shelves and beautiful glass doors. This piece would look good in your office, holding all your office supplies and plenty of room on top for printers or vinyl cutting machines. Oh yes, that spacious top would also accommodate most flat panel TVs up to 60″. In saying all this, you know how I love moving furniture around the house, there’s no telling where it will end up next. A versatile piece of furniture is my best friend!

Storage with doors for the dining area

I added these attractive stacking wire baskets, for corralling napkins, trivets and more. They’re functional and pretty to look at. They come in two sizes and the copper handles are a fun surprise. These would be great in the pantry also.

Dining storage ideas with baskets and mason jars

What would farmhouse storage be without mason jars? Ok, but really these are tea light holders, all I did was remove the candle holding section and plopped my copper colored flatware in them. Don’t you love it!! Those wooden handles make transporting them from buffet to table a breeze.

Dining storage perfect for small spaces

I may have a slight obsession with dishes, I have cabinets filled with fun finds and I’m not mad about it at all. When we have family over, I have plenty of plates, no paper products needed! Not using paper plates is one of my contributions to recycling.

Pretty storage, glass window doors, adjustable shelves and plenty of room for serving on top. When it’s not being used as a coffee bar, it can present your best dessert items, even if they’re not home made.

    1. This is too cute! Every time I try to use storage ideas, my apartment always ends up looking like I just moved in – crap everywhere or crap still in boxes!
It’s so neat that the main piece is from Walmart. I’m so tired of finding adorable home decor ideas online and not ever being able to find the exact piece to replicate it in my home.
Now, if only the kitchen in my apartment was large enough for this… 😛
