Hello friends, I wasn’t sure whether or not I’d be sharing any Christmas decor this year. But here I am with a little bit of our farmhouse Christmas tour.

Christmas tree at Refresh Restyle

I had the tree up before Thanksgiving, I was trying to get ahead as I knew my little grandson would be making his appearance the first week of December. Much to our surprise he came three weeks early. Mom and baby did great and I’m sure Jenni was a little happy to get that show on the road. You know how it is in those last weeks. Needless to say, baby holding took precedence over Christmas decor. I spent two wonderful weeks in Tennessee with them, I really didn’t want to leave. Thank goodness they will be here next Saturday 🙂

Thanks to a Facebook group that I’m in, Barb came up with an idea for folks like me, that got behind decorating for Christmas, in blog  land we are really late. Welcome to the ‘Tis the Season Blog Hop hosted by Barb Garrett and The Everyday Home. The other bloggers are listed at the end, be sure to visit 🙂

We may be a lot later getting our Christmas decor out than some others – but you know how the ole’ saying goes.  “It’s Better Late Than Never.”

Welcome to our home.

Welcome Christmas friends

I refreshed my fall wreath, you can see those details here: Fall to Christmas Wreath. Last year I had a wreath on every window, this year I kept it simple.

My entry for Christmas:

Welcome Winter Christmas

You can dress up any area with Christmas greenery, lanterns and seasonal signs.

Just inside the door are the stairs to the second floor. I found this beautiful lighted garland at Sam’s Club.

I need to stay out of thrift/antique stores. When I saw this green piece of furniture, I had to have it.

Green cabinet with Christmas decor

I added a little red and green in the dining. Seriously simply, using items that I already had on hand. I got a little crafty with mini snow globes and galvanized lanterns that I used all year long.

Ribbons and greenery are the easiest things to dress up dining chairs. Our family will be with us over the holidays and I want everything to look festive not fussy.

If you have a printer tray, make this advent calendar. It’s so simple, find the instructions here: DIY Advent Calendar. It’s the perfect rustic farmhouse addition this time of year.

The coffee station stepped aside to welcome hot cocoa. Perfect for warming up those holiday guest.

I don’t have a full set of Christmas mugs, I just mix a few in with the others.

I finally painted my fireplace, the bricks and mantel. I love it! Up until a week ago our television was above the mantel. I’m still smiling inside about have that thing relocated.

Christmas around the house

The tree is from Sam’s Club, I ordered it online and it was love at first site!

Merry Christmas from Murphy

Finally got Murphy in a photo, she’s the best dog in the world!

I kept the mantel simple, just like everything else 😉 this is the snowy village that I transformed, details: White Christmas Village.

    5. Hi Debbie,
Everything is beautiful! I especially love your tree and how you’ve decorated it. I need a new tree – is it the 7.5′ pre-lit flocked Wyoming snow tree? Thanks 🙂

    7. Hi Debbie,

Your home is so warm and cozy. Love the tree, especially that fun Merry Christmas ribbon. That Santa tea kettle, and even that bit of copper sparkle. I’m always amazed and so enjoy touring homes, even when it’s not Christmas. Molly is gorgeous and she is definitely the highlight of the tour.
