Flour Sack Christmas Towel – Be Merry

Be Merry…I’m thinking great little hostess gift for all the up coming Christmas gatherings. Maybe even throw in another fun item…a bottle of wine. I so love these towels, if you’ve never used flour sack towels, you should give them a try. They really are great, and adding a little glitter iron on vinyl just makes them that much better.

Supplies:

Using my Cricut Explore Air 2 I cut out the Be Merry file.

Don’t forget to set your vinyl cutting machine to mirror image since you are using iron on transfer. It will all be cut backwards but once it it ironed on you will be able to actually read the image. You can use any vinyl cutting machine you have.
Using the weeding tool weed out all the excess vinyl. While I was weeding the excess vinyl I went ahead and turned the iron onto the cotton/linen setting, with no steam on. After you have all the excess vinyl removed and the iron has heated up, place the image on your towel.
I didn’t use any measurements, I just eyeballed the placement. Press the iron on the image and hold it in place for 25-30 seconds. After ironing the image you are ready to slowly pull the carrier sheet that had the image attached to it off. And poof, you’re all done!
