For around $3, I put together this fabulous fern wreath.

Six times a year, we get together and share ideas for items that we found at one of our dollar stores.

Make this fern wreath

Items needed to create a fern wreath:

  1. 2 each fern florals
  2. 1 each 12″ willow wreath
  3. hot glue gun
  4. ribbon (optional)

I purchased the willow wreath and two fern florals from the Dollar Tree. I already had a hot glue gun and glue sticks. As a hoarder of craft supplies, especially pretty ribbon, I already had that too. You can purchase ribbon and a glue gun at Dollar Tree, if needed. For my project the cost was $3 plus tax. It’s totally doable for a little over $5 if you have to purchase everything.

remove leaves from the stem

Directions:

  • remove each frond
  • use hot glue gun to secure them on to the grapevine wreath
  • trim as needed
  • alternate the lighter and darker leaves to create interest

Add a ribbon or use as is. Love the mix of the different shades of green provided in each fern stem.

These will provide a fresh update to any room or door. Make this faux fern wreath for spring and it will carry you over and through summer. If you’re more in to magnolias, check out this easy DIY: Make this magnolia wreath.

    1. Debbie,

I love your fern wreath! How fun that three of y’all did wreaths. I don’t think I have ever made a wreath–I guess you could say I’m wreath challenged. 🙂

Thanks for being part of the Squad!
