This summer when I found these brass pheasants at Goodwill, I knew they’d be the center of attention on my fall table.

It was love at first site, the jumping off point for the natural setting.

The floral centerpiece is a small urn filled with greenery, sticks and a bird nest.

A real feather at the top of the setting and a small pumpkin centered on the salad plate.

A couple of weeks ago we switched the dining table with the kitchen table and I love the refreshed look. ย You may remember this tableย <–see the before.

It feels like I have a new space.

    1. Debbie, your pheasant post reminded me that I’ve been planning to Rub ‘n Buff my pheasants! Your urn just reminded me of one I haven’t even taken out of the box. Thanks for jogging my memory!;)

    2. I love the pheasants and have been searching for some old, brass animals at my local thrift shops. I have a wooden box with raffia and small pumpkins on the breakfast room table. The dining room table is project/office central right now. Not pretty.

    3. My mom had these in our dining room for years. They each weighed about 6 lbs. Thanks for letting me admire a beloved item from the past. The room looks elegant.
