Our Old House:

Welcome to our home! ย It’s time to tour the house ๐Ÿ™‚

Our home is 17 years old and we’ve lived here for 10 years. ย Originally there was a lot of vinyl, carpet and laminate. ย We’ve pretty much replaced all that but we still have changes that we’d I’d like to make. Sadly, I wasn’t blogging back then and don’t have pictures of the process or the hunter green walls, carpet and tile.

Home TourWelcome to our home!

This dogwood tree is one of my favorite things about our front yard. ย I have no idea how old it is. It’s one of the largest ones that I’ve ever seen.

Rain Boots on the doorCurrently on the front door, my Goodwill rain boots.

Living Room Bird PrintsThe living is room is light and bright, originally a dark shade of hunter green paired with green carpet. ย Those are two things that I just could not live with. ย Living Room SofaLiving Room

Living Room MantelTwo Goodwill wing backs also got a new lease on life. ย They’ve been all over the house, the original idea was to use them at both ends of the kitchen table. ย They didn’t stay there long.

    8. Such a beautiful home! I also have double doors at the front of my house and always wished I could have a screen. Was that something you added or did it come with the house? I’d love to know where I could find it. I’m looking forward to visiting your blog often ๐Ÿ™‚

    9. Hi! I abolutely adore your decor! I was wondering where you found the outdoor turtle pillows? I love the vibrant colors and they would match really well with the decor I’ve already purchased! I purchased the same outdoor rug as well!

      Thank you,

    11. Hi Debbie – I am a first time visitor and will be a big fan as I love what I’ve seen so far. In case you keep track of where your followers (FB/Blog/Pinterest and anywhere else you need me to be. I was attracted to your seasonal doors – I do that too as I live in an older townhouse with 4 outer doors and 18 doors inside. Great FB page/Blog and Pinterest. Cheers …barby
