My little Valentine is going to be decked out for Valentine’s Day in my latest project.    He will be sporting a top of the line XOXO ya’ll onesie with a pair of grey waffle weave heart patch knees pants.  Even Cupid would be jealous.

Supplies:
I use my Cricut Explore Air 2 to cut out my XOXO ya’ll, arrow and heart knee patches, but you can use any vinyl cutting machine you choose to.  Go ahead and get your heat press or iron preheating while getting your vinyl images prepared.  After cutting your design, use your weeding tool to remove all the excess vinyl, just leaving the design you plan to use on your project.  After you have the designs weeded, you can start deciding where you want to place them on your shirt and pants.  I eyeball the placement of the design, no special measurements are used.  I place them and move them around until I am happy with the look.  Once you are happy with where you have the design, place your shirt/pants on the heat press base/ironing board and clamp the press or iron over your design.  Leave your heat press clamped for 20-25 seconds then release.  After it has cooled to the touch, peel the heat transfer backing off of your design.
I hope this has inspired you to get your vinyl cutting machine out and get to working on some fun projects of your own!

    1. This is so precious! My best friend’s son will look so cute in this, the little heartbreaker! I’m glad that this DIY is a little simpler than most shirt transfers. Thanks for keeping it un-complicated for us riding the struggle bus! 🙂
