The final spot in the basement to get furniture.
We debated on what we’d like to have in this area but ultimately it came down to how we thought we would us it long term.
I was challenged by Sauder to create a space in our home for entertaining. I’m sharing a space in the basement that needed a little TLC.
How to Design a Room Within a Room
- Ask yourself what you will be using the space for? For us it was more entertaining space.
- Measure your space and the furniture that you want to place there.
- Add furniture that is versatile and accommodating.
- Choose finishes that work well in multiple rooms
We wanted an area for game playing, guitar playing and TV watching. We have a large sectional in the space beside this area, a few extra seats when we entertain a large group works out great. The chairs can be moved around the room as needed.
The bookcase holds family trophies, treasures and it’s a great place to display PawPaw’s guitar.
You can get lots of ideas for your space with the Sauder Put Together Look Book.
We are in love this Cannery Bridge Storage wall piece. It is perfect for open and closed storage. I added a few baskets from my basket stash, they fit perfectly. The shelves are adjustable, you can seen how I left the center open for the guitar.
One member of our family always finds the most comfortable spot in the house! This one is no exception…Murphy approved comfort zone.
Love the texture and color of the Ellis Accent Chair.
The Sauder line of furniture offers lots of affordable choices for any space. It was love at first site when I saw these chairs!
The bookcase style and finish compliment our basement so well. It’s like they were made for our space!
The addition of two chairs and a bookcase were perfect for this spot. Great conversation area with the casual look that we were going for.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Sauder. The opinions and text are all mine.
