All about Chalk Couture transfers and chalk paste:

Transfers are reusable adhesive silkscreens that can be used on chalkboards, glass, tile, painted surfaces, metal, white boards and more.

Chalk paste is a water-soluble paste that goes on wet and dries hard. When dry it can be layered, and it won’t smudge or smear. It can be wiped off with a wet cloth but if you want to make it permanent coat with spray poly.
