You guys this is easy to make and perfect for your mantel! Make this Stocking Hanger Box at Home Depot! Get your DIY on!
I made this:
You can make one, click here for details: Register to attend on Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
Here’s what I did with 1 board, an 8′ long 1″ x 6″:
Clamp and nail boards together. Do the sides and bottom first and then add the 7″ end pieces.
I painted my box with this DecoArt chalky finish paint. Love the color and you can find it at Home Depot!
As I was scanning the Christmas isles I spotted this 3-piece snowy pine tree set of cuties and knew immediately what I’d do with them. I love the little galvanized buckets.
After pre-drilling and attaching my hooks, I decorated my stocking hanger. You can use whatever you like, make it your own.
I love how it turned out and I hope you’ll check out the DIH workshop right here:

I am reading your blog post after this Home Depot‘s workshop has taken place (cute stocking hanger box, by the way!); so, of course, I can’t attend this workshop. I’ve checked to see about future Home Depot workshops, but only see mention of the kids DIY workshop in December. Is there a website where 2018 workshop are listed? We don’t live in a town where there’s a Home Depot so I need to plan a trip into the city for a specific date well in advance.
They update that link, if you check back each month, you’ll see updated workshops.
I love how this turned out!
