DIY Wedding Ideas
My niece Stephanie married the love of her life Griffin on July 22, 2012
The wedding and reception were held at Magnolia Springs Manor in Helena, Alabama.
Magnolia Springs Manor
The manor is the perfect setting for a southern wedding. It made me want to get married again…
Stephanie created the menu using an old window, craft paint and a sharpie.
The centerpieces were a variation of flowers, tin cans, coffee bags, painted wine bottles and votives.
(all made by Stephanie)
Amazing how beautiful simple elements can be!
The twinkle lights wrapped with tulle fabric looked perfect.
Granny Brenda made the cake and Stephanie made the topper 🙂
An old suitcase with a burlap banner and another window for the drink menu.
(also made by Stephanie and don’t you love her handwriting!)

December 3, 2014 at 2:54 pmWow, what a beautiful wedding! I truly enjoyed every single photo! I really liked the cake topper and her centerpieces! The cake photo gave me a great idea for my wedding in September. I’m going to find a stand for the cake (similar to hers) and paint it blue or green. Thanks for the post!

July 28, 2012 at 11:06 amShe did good, I can tell she has some of your blood running through her veins! My fav’s… the window food & beverage windows and the sign her son carried. Hope you had a lime Rita or some Moscato, my favorite wine.

July 27, 2012 at 11:21 pmOh wow! What a beautiful wedding and a joyous occasion!! The table settings were almost as cute as the bride 😉 They both sure were cute! Looks like a relaxed affair, much better then a stuffy, traditional wedding. At least I think so. But then… I live in jeans. lol
