~Hello Fresh Readers~I’m so happy to be here with you and Debbie today. I was lucky enough to meet Debbie at the very beginning of my blogging journey and I definitely count her as a friend!I love checking in on the adventures of her & Mr. Fresh. (and Murphy too of course!)Here is a little about me…
My name is Shannon
I’m a little-bit-of-everything kind of blogger.
I like to share DIY style projects we do on our home, fun crafts and thrifty finds I discover.
Our house is older (1920’s) and had been sadly neglected. It needed a considerable amount of work by the time we came along.
One of the biggest projects we’ve tackled in it, would have to be the kitchen!
This is our before…
It was really just an jumbled mess of scabbed together cabinets and a whole bunch of ugly! Lucky for us, we were able to work on it before we ever lived in the home.
(Thank gosh!)
Our After…
There was so much we did, a basic gut job!
We had our challenges for sure and it was a true, real-deal
DIY job accomplished by my hubby, my dad & I.
I was fortunate enough to find a chandy I had been coveting online in a little boutique that was having a lighting sale.
For tons less!!!!
It was sold as fast as my eyes focused on it.
This is the second home it has hung in.
After several years of struggling with my cabinet doors I recently decided to ditch them! I love them so much more open, where I can enjoy my things.
Unfortunately… our poor little house
came with a few ugly bathrooms too.
Like, really, really, REALLY ugly!
{both have since been renovated!}
You know, I don’t think I realized how MANY projects I’ve documented in the last year, until I had to try and pick a few.I have them all listed in on my blog under— Projects & Tutorials —

It’s full of things like these…
In August, I became a retailer for a gorgeous new paint being imported from Europe by
The Maison Blanche Paint Company.
It’s called La Craie.
La Craie, meaning “the chalk” in french, is now available in the US and it’s
the most wonderful paint.
It’s an easy to use, beginner friendly product.
No prep.
No priming.
Just the good part… the PAINTING!
It applies like a dream with a wonderful flow and is so workable. I just adore it.
I’m completely spoiled now.
It’s available in 28 luxe shades.
Including Debutante, show below
We also offer a buttery, smooth wax in four shades. It’s been made with the same Danish recipe for over 100 years! This is “Amber” and it imparts a candle lite glow.
You can read about La Craie furniture paint and La Cire wax here, as well as see color charts and pricing. If you would like to shop with me.. you can click on the button below.
I have lots more to share… but I don’t want to impose
on my hostess anymore.
Thanks so much for having me!
If you’d like to stop by and visit me at Fox Hollow Cottage blog I’d be happy to have you.I also hang out on facebook. Lots.
Sometimes, I even have impromptu freebie giveaways 😉
Hope you can pop in and introduce yourself.
Actually, I’m all over. Take your pick…{I get around. hehe}
