Hello friends! Happy Christmas decorating! I’m sharing my rustic Christmas porch idea. I included all of my favorites, like plaid ribbon, magnolia wreaths and my old sled. It was a quick makeover and you can recreate this look in no time.
I’m excited to be joining my blogger friends in a Christmas Porch Tour, hosted by Atta Girl Says.
Whether your style is vintage, rustic, farmhouse, French country, traditional or cottage, you’ll find lots of inspiration as you deck your halls for the holidays.
I used the same garland as last year, see it: Christmas garland. You can change the look by simply adding a different ribbon each year. I cut 2 pieces and started in the middle, weaving in and out of the garland.
Create this Rustic Christmas look by use the same plaid ribbon in various places:
- plaid ribbon in the garland
- hang the wreaths with the plaid ribbon
- add ribbon to the candle holders
- attach greenery to the vintage sled with the ribbon
It’s all about the ribbon!
The only thing I bought this year was the ribbon. Very little investment, yet the look is cohesive.
Where can I get this ribbon?
Great job. It’s not too much. Just right.
I adore plaids, but especially this one. It really does have a rustic feel. I am so copying the urn idea! Needs to be in Southern Living!
Just beautiful, Debbie! xoxoxoxo
You make it sound so effortless! I love your porch, Debbie. It reminds me of a cover shoot from Southern Living. Those magnolia wreaths are stunning.
So glad to have you as part of the tour, in the midst of this busy, busy moving season!
The ribbon is the perfect way to tie everything together, Debbie. I need to look for some like that. And those urns are gorgeous. I love the simple, timeless look of it all.
Your porch is so classy and fun! Love those big urns at the bottom of the steps and how you used the ribbon throughout!
