Chalk Couture Fall Transfers and Farmhouse Chicken Ideas

I opened a box filled with Chalk Couture fall transfers, and before I even finished looking through everything, I already had ideas for shirts, treat bags, flannel, and farmhouse kitchen decor. The chicken pieces may have caused a little avalanche on my table, but they also inspired one of my favorite projects from the box.

My Chalk Couture Fall Transfers

The box included a fun mix of farmhouse designs, seasonal sayings, and Mickey Mouse fall artwork. Some were regular transfers and some were heat transfers made for fabric projects, so I could picture several ways to use them as soon as I pulled them out.

I always enjoy opening one of these boxes because I usually forget at least part of what I ordered. That makes it feel a little like a surprise, especially when the box is packed with designs I can use throughout the fall season.

The Autumn Favorites transfer

One of the first designs I shared was the Autumn Favorites transfer. It includes all those cozy fall things we look forward to, including warm blankets, crisp mornings, chilly nights, hot chocolate, harvest moon, soft flannel, and a crackling fire.

It also has coordinating patterns along the bottom. I immediately pictured the full design on the back of a flannel shirt. The words would make a pretty statement across the fabric, and the flannel would fit the theme perfectly.

This is the kind of transfer that could inspire an entire fall outfit or a seasonal gift. I especially like that the wording celebrates the feeling of fall without being limited to one holiday.

Farmhouse Chicken Kitchen Decor

The chicken design gave me an idea for a Dollar Tree box I already had on hand. I had completed one chicken piece, and my plan was to make another one so I could place a chicken on each end of the box.

That simple addition would turn a basic container into farmhouse kitchen decor. I love the farmhouse look, and the chickens give the box plenty of personality without needing a complicated arrangement.

I haven’t settled on what I’ll keep inside it, but I shared several possibilities. It could hold coffee supplies, flowers, or decorative eggs. You could also use the same chicken pieces on the ends of another container that fits your space.

The shape of my Dollar Tree box made it a natural choice for the kitchen, and adding the chickens would help it blend with the rest of my farmhouse decor. It’s a good example of how a small surface can help a simple store find feel more personal.

Mickey Mouse Fall Heat Transfers

The Mickey Mouse heat transfers were another highlight of the unboxing. I knew the kids would enjoy them, and I started planning fall shirts as soon as I saw the designs.

One said Fall Was Just Swell, and several others featured Mickey Mouse enjoying the season. The Turning Over a New Leaf design showed Mickey raking leaves, while another design made it look like he was sitting in a pile of leaves.

I also opened a design with bold block letters that said The One and Only 1928 Mickey Mouse. The lettering gave it a sporty look, which could work well on a shirt or hat.

There was even a Mickey Mouse pumpkin design, plus the Say Cheese transfer featuring the whole gang. These designs would be cute for anyone who loves Disney, whether you’re preparing for a trip or simply want something fun to wear during the fall.

Halloween treat bag ideas

My favorite Halloween designs immediately made me think of treat bags. A handmade bag with a Mickey Mouse fall or Halloween design would be fun for trick or treating, school events, or giving treats to someone special.

I also liked these designs for shirts. You could use the same theme across several projects and make coordinating shirts and bags for the kids. One of the Halloween designs I showed came with two in the pack, which gives you another option when planning a matching set.

The Monthly Chicken Club Project

The chicken pieces came from the July monthly club project I showed during the video. The kit included the transfer design and chicken surface, and new members also received a squeegee with the first kit at that time.

By the end of the unboxing, I had ideas for several different surfaces. The Autumn Favorites transfer belonged on flannel in my mind, the Mickey Mouse designs were headed toward shirts and treat bags, and the chickens were ready to become kitchen decor.

I enjoy seeing how one box can lead to projects for several parts of the home and different times of the season. Fabric projects can become gifts or clothing, while the farmhouse pieces can stay out as part of my everyday kitchen decor.
