Front Door Flowers!
Spring on the door.
This was before…
this was before, before.
Can I say that I love that
metal container
on the door 🙂
I lined it with plastic.
I know it won’t last forever, but what does?

March 15, 2012 at 8:07 pmThis is so pretty! What a beautiful (and unexpected) alternative to the ubiquitous front door wreath! If I weren’t so good at killing flowers, I’d be tempted to find something similar to hang on my door!

March 10, 2012 at 1:29 pmDebbie,
That is so crazy creative! Unfortunately I do not possess a green thumb so my pretty flowers would be shriveled and dead withing a week or two. Oh, each year I try. And each year I fail!

March 9, 2012 at 7:59 amI love this! It’s beautiful. I buy fresh flowers for the house every couple of weeks. Of course they don’t last either, so why not use bedding plants on the door. I am going to try this for spring and summer..
Thanks so much for the inspiration.

March 7, 2012 at 10:27 amP.S. I don’t know if you are a gardener….but if not…your pansies will look good longer if you pinch off the spent blossoms….it’s a daily 2 minute task. And it will prove why gardeners have green thumbs. (Or fingers – teehee!)

March 7, 2012 at 9:30 amAck! I LOVE it! So springy and sweet! I have a question for you, how do you keep the metal basket from banging against the door when people go in and out? I’ve tried hanging things like this on the door before but it always makes such a racket and bangs my door up when it is opened and shut…probably cause I have a million teens running through it slamming it. Any suggestions of something to hold the bottom part to the door?

March 7, 2012 at 9:00 amSo bright and cheerful Debbie!! I am trying to decided what flowers I want to plant in the yard.. I need to hurry before they are all gone like last year. Have a fab day lady!:)

March 7, 2012 at 8:56 amI think my front door is due for a makeover this spring. Don’t know if I will do fresh flowers (mine would make it much less than their life expectancy due to lack of green thumb) but I can find a good compromise.
Last week I pinned the edible nests and not 10 seconds later they were heading out to others in all directions.

March 7, 2012 at 8:44 amSo spring I love it! I have a storm door that I am not a fan of but it really helps keep the cold air out since our original door is still our front door. Hopefully I can put together a cute spring wreath for the door.
