I am ready for something green…

I am ready for something shiny…

I am ready for something fun…

I am ready for something inspiring…

I was ready to take the Christmas decorations down…

I don’t really know why…

I love the holidays…

Β this year just seemed different…

I can’t put it in to words…

but I’m glad it’s a New Year.

    1. What a wonderful quote! I have not seen that before and I think I may have to steal it for something… I also love the layers on your mantel! I have only had a mantel for almost a year and need to find things to decorate it with. I see some nice inspiration here!

    2. Looks great! I’m working on restyling my mantel as we speak. It can be a challenge…glad I saw your mantel…very inspiring.

you are always welcome to link up at my Show & Tell party on Wednesdays.

    3. I felt the same way, Debbie! Ready to get my home back to normal and declutter. You and I had the same ideas when it came too our mantels. Clean and white with a touch of garden green. πŸ™‚ Looks great, girlie!

    4. Me too. I couldn’t change out my Christmas decor fast enough. I’m going to check out the bookpage flower further. It looks like a cute idea and something I could manage to make! .

    5. Pleese come do mine πŸ˜‰ It’s back to the grind today and the mess I have made flipping storage and rooms. Ahhhh reality.

It looks lovely, and you KNOW I am loving the frame and that little hootie. CUTE!!

    6. It’s beautiful Debbie! Serene and fresh and perfect for welcoming in the New Year. πŸ™‚ I’m going to be tackling mine today so this was great inspiration!

    7. I was on vacation and the moment I came back I wanted to take all the Christmas Decorations down. I now have a blank mantel that I am not sure what I want to do so thanks for sharing yours. Love the chalk board idea above the mantel. Happy New Year!
