For our annual gingerbread house contest, I will be serving these Mocha Latte coffees and milk. You can easily double the recipe for a large crowd, it would be great for Christmas morning too!

Gingerbread Party

I prep the table with craft paper, it’s great for any icing or sprinkle mishaps!

It’s nice to bring everyone together,  warm up with a cup of Folgers® and kick off the  merriment with competitive gingerbread house building. After last year, we resolved to come up with better rules. We had a few people (at least one) that was grabbing miniature Christmas decor and adding it to his Christmas scene. (Here are a few photos from last year.)

GINGERBREAD HOUSE IDEAS

Create a space on a table or buffet for serving and gingerbread house components. Make it easy on yourself and guest with this self serve area. You can bake your own houses or do like I did and grab a couple of kits. I hope you guys try this at home, it’s so much fun!

Whether you’re hosting a party or having a casual gathering, brewing coffee at home is a great way to start the holiday season. Folgers® has introduced me to 12 different roasts. A couple of months ago I was able to tour their facilities in New Orleans, it was a wonderful experience.

Here’s a list of the selection they have to choose from:

 Classic Roast, a delicious medium roast made from rich, aromatic Mountain
Grown ® beans
 Black Silk, a smooth, dark roast coffee
 100% Colombian, a rich and full-bodied medium-dark roast coffee
 Coffeehouse Blend, a rich, café style medium roast blend.
 Morning Cafe, a light bodied and bright blend
 Breakfast Blend, a smooth, mild roast
 Country Roast Coffee, a robust, hearty coffee blend
 100% Colombian Decaf, a rich and full-bodied decaffeinated coffee
 ½ Caff Coffee, all the great taste of regular Folgers but with half the caffeine
 Special Roast Coffee, a well-crated, medium roast
 Brazilian Blend Coffee, a smooth, flavorful medium roast coffee.
 French Roast Coffee, a bold and hearty medium-dark roast blend
 Gourmet Supreme, a deliciously dark roast with a rich, full-bodied character

Plenty of variety for all of us coffee lovers.
