I had just finished painting a table and chair set.
Thinking about how quick the year has gone. September here already?!
Am I going to dig out the plastic bins filled with fall decor?
I walked past my spent hydrangeas and wished that I’d cut more flowers to dry.
I remembered these orange napkins and thought they make cute faux pumpkins.
Silverware from my thrifting trip with the girls 🙂
and last year or the year before salad plates from Walmart.
Fall is looking fresh on my table and I like it.
What colors are you decorating with?
I love the green hydrangeas so much, I’m sure you will see them somewhere else…
like on the mantel.
I’m not digging out those plastic bins, I’m going with this.
What do you think?
be.refreshed.

September 13, 2012 at 9:48 amWhy dig out the bins when you got the look without lugging them. Makes me want to get some green apples to decorate with, and hydrangeas.

September 12, 2012 at 10:22 pmTemperatures are still in the triple digits around here, so I’m not thinking about fall yet! But, I was in Marshall’s today at lunch-time, and saw a gorgeous ceramic pumpkin done in white and a tarnished silver type color, and so I think I might go with that as my fall color scheme.
I like your fall decor – the concession to fall with the pop of orange, without going overboard. Perfect!
