You may remember my dining space with the gray upholstered chairs. They looked great but I felt like it made the room a little dark. I added slip covers and a few items from the Walmart home department, like the Pioneer Woman dish set. Let me show you. (The gray chairs are still here, they just look a little more vintage chic.

Adding Vintage Chic Style

This  dish set is a perfect way to add color and vintage style to your table. The luster of the color reminds me of antique pieces that I’ve seen while out thrifting. I mixed up my table setting with a white table runner and a couple of different colored place mats to create a collected look.

• Luster Pearlized Goblets 

Bring a little country chic to the table. Just look at all the colors reflected in the glasses. They will look great with every shade of dinnerware that you pair them with.

• Colorful Napkins

Do you use cloth napkins? They’re great! I love that they add another dimension to the table and great color! Of course it would be perfectly fine to use white ones too!

I tried to keep everything very simple, love this little vase, by Drew Barrymore. I had it on my sidebar. After I set the table I realized it would add a shot of color to the centerpiece grouping. You know I love color, I just did a makeover at the condo with teal: Teal Living Room.

A neutral setting really makes the color pop and the added luster just completes the look. Perfect setting for a casual meal in the farmhouse dining room.
