I admit when I found this awesome map, I had no idea what I was going to do with it.
Until I came across the flattest piece of furniture that I had ever seen 🙂
The perfect map joined together with the flattest dresser 🙂
A match made in Mod Podge heaven!
Combos like this don’t come around that often!
Have you found any perfect matches?

April 7, 2018 at 4:23 amHi this loos amazing. I am in the middle of doing up an old tavle and would love to put a map in the middle. I am just a bit unsure how to do it correctly so it comes out as good as yours. Can you please advise me how you did it? Your help would be much appreciated. Tbaks

April 9, 2018 at 10:07 amHi Rachael, I put the mod podge on the dresser front and then applied the map. Smooth it out and then apply a top coat of mod podge. Thanks, Debbie

March 18, 2014 at 5:03 pmI am new to the modge podge seen, but I love doing it. I just had a question for you. I’m assuming the map was big enough to cover the dresser, but what if I have say a picture of a flower that’s approximately 8″ x 11″ and I want it to fit on an entire dresser. How would I do that? I’m assuming I would have to take it to somewhere like Office Depot to have it blown up, but not sure. I know my home printer couldn’t do that because it don’t take paper larger than an 8x 11. Please advise….Thanks a bunch.

May 21, 2014 at 8:34 amYes, you’d have to measure your dresser and go to a pro-printer to see if the size is available. Good Luck! When you’re finished with your project, share it on our FB page, refreshrestyle

April 7, 2013 at 4:15 amAs I perused Pinterest today, I came across your dresser. I immediately recognized the geography of the map you used! It’s my home, Hilton Head, SC and the surrounding waters and mainland. How delightful! What a fun project!

November 20, 2012 at 8:38 amLove this project, Debbie! My partner tried this on a dresser, but the edges of the drawers had some curvature that she just couldn’t navigate successfully with the map and mod podge. Your dresser was the perfect choice!
Hope you and yours have a very happy Thanksgiving!
