Monday with Murphy

(We know it’s not Monday, we just wanted to do a test run through the weekend :))

I’ve watched Refresh type  away on the computer for long enough.  It’s time for her to scrub the toilets, make the beds and cut the grass, the way she used too!  So,  for as-long-as I can stand it (or as long as you can)~I’m taking over on Monday’s!

My first official post!

(Just kidding, but it would be nice to have a Sniffany!)

I picked pawed these rooms because, I can see several DIY projects and you know how Refresh likes to change things up!

This white four poster bed, reminds me of the Edland for only $299 at Ikea!  You know I think Refresh has at least that much fabric  stuffed in one of her closets…

One wall of wallpaper or a different color of paint makes a beautiful difference!

Bow Wow, the bed is very ornate, but this white room looks so calm with the use of only one color, sprinkled with a little pink  :)…Yes I am a girl, even though they named me Murphy!

I can see Refresh thinking that she could make this ottoman, she’d buy an old thing from Goodwill and start ripping, hammering and stapling away.  And that bed, so simple, yet refreshing!

Refresh would start with two pieces of MDF, plywood or just any old sturdy piece of wood she could find for the headboard, because she always thinks she can do anything! On a side note:  I do like those two different fabrics, with the same colors!

I’m seeing Ikea ledges, spray painted!  If you ever wanted to repaint the walls, there would not be many holes to fill!

Once again, Refresh would do her plywood, foam, fabric trick on this headboard too!  Pottery Barn Teen has a Capiz Shell Chandelier for just $129 plus shipping, handling and all that other stuff.

I would love to curl up in that sunny spot on this comfy bed, anyway back to _Refresh…_make the headboard,  find some great sheets at TJ, and thrift the rest!
