For the dining room, I decided to use a center piece that would work all season.
I wrapped a branch with an artificial floral.
Placed a little bird on one of the limbs.
Turned a dessert cup upside down, added some moss creating a little nest.
Used burlap for the runner.
It looks all fresh and springy.
The weather has been wonderful.
This may be my
favorite
time of the year ๐

Oh Debbie, that is so pretty! I love the branch!

Love this idea…I once did one in a vase, and was not too crazy about it. I like it on the table naturally. Enjoy the weekend Freshie!
Birds are on my list today – the naughty one. I was outside and a flock of lost seagulls flew over. Considering I’m 2,000 miles from the ocean I don’t know where they were going or coming from. Anyway, one of the little bast@r$s pooped on me.

LOL – I just picked a long branch up out of my yard and thought “hmmm, this would make an awesome centerpiece”!! Well now I totally have to copy you, girl! Love the way yours turned out — inspired!

What a great idea Debbie! That looks so pretty!!
Oh Debbie! That is soooooo cute. I really love it. That branch is perfect. I saw the picture popping up and I said; “oooohhhhh I LIKE that!”. Outloud ๐ hehe
Debbie,
I love this!! I have had a huge branch sitting on my patio since it feel off a tree months ago (it’s about 15 feet long!!)! I have all kinds of ideas swirling about what to do with it but can’t make a decision. The Hubs is after me to trash it but I won’t let him. This would be perfect (well, at least I’d use part of the branch – what to do with the rest)!!
So fresh, fun and springy. Pinning!

Heaven, that piece of wood as the piece is great!!!
