My farm table neutral tablescape is my favorite so far. Fall is all about harvesting and so is my little idea.
Happy Fall Y’all.
Well actually, I guess it’s not officially autumn until tomorrow.
We have a great line up of fall ideas for you. Welcome to the Fall Ideas Tour, be sure to visit everyone, you’re going to love this creative journey of all things fall from 32 blogs in 4 days. One stop inspiration!
Here’s what I used:
- feathers
- acorns
- seed pods
- pumpkins
- wood crates (I built these with shims)
- beads
- wheel barrel
- gords
- mini Indian corn
- candles
- vine of leaves
Position the crates and candles. Lay the vine of leaves around them. Then start layering your acorns, feathers, seed pods, and some of the pumpkins. Place pumpkins in the crates and wheel barrel. Scatter the mini Indian corn around to fill in.
The table is set and ready to enjoy an autumn meal with family and friends.
Fall is a time for soul warming foods like bacony – cheesey potato soup, and sweet – sticky candied apples, spending weekends watching football and wearing sweat pants – hoorah. It just might be my favorite time of the year. But I think I say that with every new season.
A season of thanksgiving.
For our bountiful harvest.
A time for apple picking, boot wearing and bon fires. Spending time curled up under a fuzzy throw and drinking hot chocolate with mini marshmallows. Now, if the temps in Georgia would drop just a little!
I hope you have a cozy memorable fall.
Come back to see us 🙂
I am very thankful for my family, friends and blog readers!
Plant some seeds!
Love this quote.
Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant. Robert Louis Stevenson
